REFORMATION OF A BEACH BAR IN KATO STALOS
The interventions in the existing beach bar area mostly have to do with the design of new light constructions and the proposal of different materials and colors. The general plan of the space as well as the defined levels remain as they were.
The access to the ground level becomes clear through the use of a wooden deck that leads the visitor coming from the parking place towards the entrance, while his access from the bar to the beach is made discreetly, through wide steps that are also used as sitting areas. Wood is the main material used for the constructions and it is painted with white color, so that the sea element can be intensified. Plants are placed in the whole area in order to create a pleasant environment, while the use of piles with lights offer a sense of intimacy and neighborhood feeling.
